The purpose of these
groups is to provide motivation, confidence, and skills needed
to achieve cessation and maintain abstinence from tobacco use.
The community support group is a peer support system. The goal
is to choose a plan that will work for them, and have the peer
support from the group to encourage the success of their plan
for each attempt to achieve cessation.
There is no pre-registration or charge to attend these peer
community support groups.
