A Lunch & Learn Seminar was held on September 27th at 11:30 a.m. at the 4-H building in Valentine. Jordan’s Fine Dining catered the meal. Keith Hansen, Pandemic Influenza Educational Outreach Coordinator for The Center for Biopreparedness Education was the featured speaker. He provided a PowerPoint presentation entitled, “What do I need to know about this ‘bird flu’ that everyone is talking about?” Question and answer discussion followed. The next Community Pandemic Flu Committee Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at 5 p.m. in Valentine at the Courthouse. Supper will be provided.
